Everyone Listen.
I have heard a clear and loud message lately. the message is: to listen deeply...
listen more. listen without agenda. listen without preconception. listen with wonder. listen with allowance. listen without expectation. and continue listening, bravely, when the mind wants to chime in with all those chattery thoughts.
but mostly, listen with love and an open heart. this is deep listening.
the practice of deep listening helps us see through the lens of wonder, compassion, love, magic and understanding.
we can allow things to be just as they are when we listen deeply.
as the revered Buddhist teacher, Thich Nhat Hahn, says in his book, You Are Here, Discovering the Magic of the Present Moment,
the path of deep listening…

Everyone Listen With Star Eyes everyone listen: there are stars that form just for me they drift down to earth~sometimes plummet! they burn! they crash into me! they fill me up with the holiest of holy light it is so much heaven I cannot describe! I birth them as eyes that see every twinkling bit of love and ecstasy looking into and out of me the forgotten reasons I came into being are ignited by star showers that bless me when I am dreaming awake and alive! I am a child I listen with star eyes (from my book Careless Blossoming)
